Holiday Messages From the Board

Usually during this season, we in the production industry have plenty of time to work on our hobbies, enjoy the great outdoors, tighten up our database of customers, bake goods for neighbors or take a little time off - it seems that this year, there are many projects in development and theres little time for these things. Cant really complain! It will pay off in 2006 as these projects come to completion.
Thank you, once again, to the Board, Joe Reynolds, Heidi Capriotti, Greg Wolfe, Stephanie Smith, and to each of you who view your membership as an opportunity to serve others, not only the spirit of this season, but the spirit of the entire organization all year long.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all of you and to your families! May this be a special and wonderful time with your family as you celebrate together. Ill look forward to seeing you at the January 31st meeting. -David Haneke
Another year has come and gone, and as we look back at 2005 it is a time to be thankful all the opportunities, friends, and clients we have met along the way. I have been told by some of my friends that I work in a crazy industry with its many up and downs and my response is always the same, Yes, it is and the best part is, I enjoy what I do and the people I get to meet along the way.
Wishing all of you a blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2006. Thanks for the opportunity to serve on the MCA-I board and getting to know of you. -Joe Reynolds
Dear Friends of MCA-I, The best gift-giver I know is my husbands best friend, John. He buys most of his presents at Walgreens and can cross his whole list off in under $30 If you are lucky enough to receive a gift from John, you may end up with a disposable toilet bowl brush but youll also get a one-page creative and humorous essay about how the disposable toilet bowl brush is the ultimate instrument of luxury in home cleaning supplies, allowing you to simply swipe and flush.
Johns gifts embody the spirit of holiday giving because to each recipient he gives his most valuable possession - his time and his full creativity. While the toilet brush may not be around a year later, we keep and reread all Johns gift stories; all year long they remind us of our good fortune to have such a friend.
Christmas, Hanukkah, Solstice whatever youre celebrating this month I hope that you are surrounded with your great friends and family, and that you are giving your most valuable gift your time to all those around you.
Peace in your life, - Heidi Capriotti |
